Hidden by a decayed-skin.
You thought the years had passed you by
Sitting on a burial ground
You never thought you'd touch the sky
Never thought you'd find yourself
Before the waves wash you ashore
But now your dreams are fossil-bones
And your hopes a silent roar
Even in the darkest days
My love for you will hold you tight
Shed out your inner machine
You must be entirely flesh to fight
Hold on to your dreams
So precious in the night
Minutes before the storm begins
Are your wings ready for that flight?
Thorns grow in your heart
Thorns around your head
Since the day the world has grown cold
Your only wish is to be dead
Hidden by a decayed-skin.
You thought the years had passed you by
Sitting on a burial ground
You never thought you'd touch the sky
Carve your name upon a tomb-stone
You could've made your life complete
There is Nowhere to hide
No strength to stand up on your feet
Even in the darkest days
My love for you will hold you tight
Shed out your inner machine
You must be entirely flesh to fight
Hold on to your dreams
So precious in the night
Minutes before the storm begins
Are your wings ready for that flight?
Every dead thing adores your name
Every dead thing loves your fame
as insanity of your mind
as and like dark clouds fill the sky
as the sickness in your soul
now your life is fully lost
The pollution in your heart
Has already poison your mind
And your world has been collapsed
But you still forever blind
The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
Inferi takes me to another world with this album (and so many others too), where everything is possible, where great powers lie. Thank you for making my soul travel Inferi! adrianradillo
On their self-titled debut, Bhavachakra make black metal, flamenco guitar, and Liszt-like piano passages collide. Bandcamp Album of the Day Oct 17, 2016
Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
